Trade between the UK and Cyprus

With the exception of 2019, the UK has maintained a trade surplus with Cyprus, exporting more than it imports. In 2020, Imports from Cyprus experienced a sharper drop compared to exports. The UK’s trade with Cyprus peaked in 2019 and has since returned to 2016 levels.

Over the last five years, agricultural goods (e.g. dairy products and vegetables) and jewellery have been the top goods imported by the UK from Cyprus. On the other hand, the top UK exports to Cyprus have primarily been manufactured goods (e.g. vehicles and machinery).
